Rajeev Seth, MD, MBBS
Dr. Rajeev Seth is a U.S. trained, American Board Certified, Social Pediatrician, with expertise in the delivery of mobile health, access to vaccinations and welfare for underprivileged children and young people in low-resource community settings. As co-founder of a non-profit organization BUDS, Dr. Seth’s work has reached out to serve the child health, vaccinations, nutrition and rehabilitation needs of more than 81,000 marginalized children in Delhi and rural villages in the backward district of Mewat, India since 2003.
BUDS has an active research collaboration with the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) in the field of improving vaccination confidence and uptake. BUDS has been a recipient of Bill Melinda Gates Grand Challenge Award (2017-2019) and the Indo-US R03 Grant (2015-2017) from the U.S. National Institute of Health. Dr. Seth was a 2020 Sabin Vaccine Institute grant partner. Currently, Dr. Seth is Chair of the Board, International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse & Neglect (ISPCAN). He is the recipient of several academic honors, awards and research publications.
