George Okello
George Okello is a seasoned public health analyst with significant experience in immunization programs. He is experienced in vaccine cold chain management and temperature monitoring and in strengthening immunization systems in low and middle-income countries. George has contributed to immunization campaigns and has employed Human Centered Design (HCD) approaches in developing cold trace devices, which have been employed in maintaining vaccine potency throughout the supply chain. George has supported vaccine acceptance and uptake in various communities through the utilization of Advocacy, Communication, and Social
Mobilization (ACSM) strategies specifically for immunization programming. He has supported immunization projects to ensure that vaccines reach the hard-to-reach communities, contributing to more equitable immunization outcomes. George has contributed to the continuous improvement of immunization strategies and their implementation. He holds a BSc in Health Systems Strengthening and Management, complemented by a diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
